The Student Angler Tournament Trail will be the Exclusive Provider of Boat Officials for the Champions Tour in 2019
The Champions Tour is pleased to announce that the Student Angler Tournament Trail (SATT) will be providing boat officials for all 2019 Champions Tour events.
SATT is made up of a group of young anglers that are passionate about learning, and the Champions Tour provides great access to that education. The “Every Fish Counts” format engages the boat marshals and truly makes them feel part of the larger event. There is no better way to excite a group of young anglers than to be a boat marshal in the Champions Tour.
“The Student Angler Tournament Trail is proud to be the exclusive provider of boat officials for the Champions Tour Events,” stated Jimmy Bell, President of SATT. “The approach that the Champions Tour takes to provide opportunities to high school student anglers is a perfect match for us.”
All of the Student Angler Tournament Trail events are catch-weigh-release events where fish are immediately released back into the water after being weighed. The Student Angler Tournament Trail is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality fishing opportunities to students and their families through competition, scholarships and education.
“We’re very excited to be working with the Student Angler Tournament Trail for this year’s Champions Tour events,” said Scott Bonnema, Owner of the Champions Tour. “The partnership is a win-win situation for both the Champions Tour and SATT. These young anglers are excellent boat marshals, but more importantly the experience and education they receive is second to none.”
Classic Bass aims at providing bass fisherman with beneficial and current bass fishing information, which now will be boosted by the Champions Tour, as results can be followed real time via ClassicBass.com and on social media. Competing anglers will also be providing Classic Bass with helpful fishing information on the lake they are fishing, along with the techniques and lures they are using.
