Brandon Palaniuk Set to Share His Story With Minnesota Bass Angler’s
The 2018 Minnesota BASS Nation Banquet presented by Classic Bass will be held on Saturday, January 13th and will feature 2017 B.A.S.S. Elite Series Angler and 2017 Angler of the Year, Brandon Palaniuk.

The Banquet will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis North and seating is limited to 220 people, so don’t delay in getting your tickets. Tickets through December 31st are $35 and then go up to $40 until January 8th.

During the program portion of the evening, the Minnesota BASS Nation will introduce and acknowledge the MNBN State Team (View Article) that will be headed to the B.A.S.S. Nation Central Regional on Toledo Bend this March.
The Minnesota BASS Nation will also be giving out awards to its youth members, along with awarding conservation project winners, including the winners of the Keep America Fishing Pitch It campaign (View on Classic Bass) and participants in Creel Survey’s.
Since 2013, the Minnesota BASS Nation has provided the Minnesota DNR with bass creel survey data and provides valuable information including:
- Maximum size and mean weights
- Catch per effort
- Relationship to lake habitat condition
In that time a total of 2,941 creel surveys have been turned in, totaling 22,118 angling hours and have covered 210 bodies of water. Awards will be handed out based on participation from this past June to September.
