Sanctioned Events Will Qualify Anglers for the Champions Tour Open Event

Zimmerman, MN – Classic Bass (ClassicBass.com), a leader in providing bass tournament anglers informative, current information, and presenter of the Champions Tour is excited to announce eight tournament circuits as Classic Bass Champions Tour sanctioned events, with representatives from these events qualifying for the Classic Bass Champions Tour Open event presented by Skeeter Boats and Yamaha Outboards on the Whitefish Chain on August 6th.

For the 2017 season, the following tournament circuits will be sending a qualifying representative to compete in the Bass Champions Tour Open event.

  • Dick Hiley St. Jude Bass Classic (1 Angler from the 2017 Winning Team)
  • Denny’s Super 30 Bass Tournaments (1 Angler)
  • Fishers of Men Minnesota Division (1 Angler)
  • Minnesota Bass Federation (1 Angler)
  • Minnesota BASS Nation (2 Angler’s)
  • NorthStar Tournament Trail (2 Person Team who has the highest point total after first four events)

Further details about event qualification will be announced by the sanctioned tournament organizations and Classic Bass when determined.  In addition two events have already been sanctioned for the 2018 season, the Skeeter Boat Center Open and the Major League Series Tournament Circuit.

Joining these eight qualifying anglers from the 2017 Classic Bass Champions Tour sanctioned events in the Champions Tour will be four anglers from the Classic Bass Open, this event location and date will be announced shortly, please stay tuned to ClassicBass.com for more details.  The 12 remaining spots in the August 6th event will be filled with anglers invited by Classic Bass Champions Tour sponsors, such as Skeeter Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Minn Kota and Humminbird.

Classic Bass aims at providing bass fisherman with beneficial and current bass fishing information, which now will be boosted by the Champions Tour, as results can be followed real time via ClassicBass.com and on social media.  Competing anglers will also be providing Classic Bass with helpful fishing information on the lake they are fishing, along with the techniques and lures they are using.
