Champions Tour Tidbits and Highlights

Things that may have been overlooked….

Lindner Media group was on hand filming the Champions Tour Championship on Lake Pokegama, which will be produced into a one-hour TV special

In attendance in Grand Rapids were legendary angling icons, Ron Lindner and Roland Martin

On behalf of our Champions Tour anglers, Classic Bass made a monetary donation to the Red Cross to help with Hurricane Harvey relief.  Classic Bass also thanks those with boats that have and will continue to aid in the rescue and relief efforts.

The Minnesota Junior BASS Nation will be receiving a monetary donation from Classic Bass, which will be distributed to the clubs who provided us with boat officials for the four regulars season Champions Tour events

Champions Tour angler Brad Leifermann won the flip off against the other 2017 Champions Tour event big bass winners, this will have Brad going to Florida this winter for a fishing trip with Scott Bonnema

Shane Raveling and Brad Leifermann each won the Kruger Farms Don Nelson Memorial Big Bass Award twice

Five different anglers won the Wenzel’s Farm Major Mover award

Only ONE Rapala scale was lost in a lake this season!

Over the course of five Champions Tour events, our anglers caught 4,175 lb 12 oz of bass!  It broke out like this for each event:

Lake Mille Lacs:  898 lb 7 oz
Lake Minnewaska:  1,045 lb 9 oz
Gull Lake:  885 lb
Whitefish Chain:  638 lb 9 oz
Lake Pokegama:  708 lb 3 oz
